Volunteer Round Up

by Esther Emery

Below is a message from MOXIE Managing Director (and the Listener herself) Jo Anne Glover.  If you’re one of our volunteers already, we’d like to say, “Thank you!”  If you aren’t, consider joining us on Tuesday for an hour, a few hours, or all day.  Even if you despise heavy lifting (and I can understand that) come anyway, because someone is going to have to keep Milo out of the junk pile while I get my once-per-six-weeks workout.  Here’s Jo:
Hey Moxielicious friends!!
MOXIE loads our next show – The Listener – into the Lyceum on Tuesday, and we could really use your help!  The day will basically consist of loading huge pieces of reconstructed junk from Nick Fouch’s shop onto a truck, taking it over to the Lyceum, and then moving it into the theatre, where we’ll be building our “Junk City” (the play is a science fiction post-apocalyptic piece set in a junked Earth – how cool is that?).
If you’re able to help at any point during the day, we’d be soooo appreciative.  Lots of hugs and comps to the show are included.
UPDATE:  Thanks to all who helped.  We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at the show!
